Bridgeport Rescue Mission
Last week, our team handed out bags of Thanksgiving goodies to families in need with the Bridgeport Rescue Mission during their Great Thanksgiving Project. Our bags contained holiday meal fixings to accompany a free turkey to cook for the holiday, a luxury that so many of us take for granted every year. The Bridgeport Rescue Mission fights back against poverty in our community by providing those in need with the essentials that no one should have to live without. Our team was also happy to help families select from over 15,000 winter coats and an endless supply of hats, gloves, scarves, and socks provided by the mission to keep residents warm throughout the winter.
Our firm doesn’t help those in need to flaunt our good deeds. The team at Jacobs & Wallace is involved and immersed in the community we work with because there is nothing more gratifying than spreading positivity to others. Giving back is at the core of who we are as a firm. To lend a helping hand to a neighbor who is down on their luck, or to help raise awareness for a cause that could save someone’s life are extremely powerful actions. When we look at our community, we see the bigger picture and the significant impact that even small acts of giving can make.
“We became lawyers specifically to help people. We know that our office has been successful in serving our clients, but we constantly desire to do more. Our clients and our community are very important to us. As a firm, we work with local organizations to give back in a bigger, more profound way. It is something we are very proud of and hope to continue for years to come.”- Andrew Wallace and Adele Jacobs.
