According to the Connecticut Department of Transportation's website, the Share the Road program strives to improve the knowledge of all roadway users – motorists, bicyclists, equestrians, motorcyclists, pedestrians – to promote safe travel and minimize the likelihood of crashes.  The website is a useful resource to learn what you and your family can do to stay safe on Connecticut roads.  To visit the site click here.

The site not only shares information about current CT highway and road laws, but it also provides resources for cyclists and pedestrians to find websites regarding safety and training courses, organizations, and clubs to join.  You can also listen to their latest radio commercials:  "Bikes Don't Have Fender Benders" and "We'll Go Together Just Fine".
