Did you know that over 6,000 American licensed doctors have been fired from hospitals due to medical errors in the past decade? However, only 50% of them had their licenses revoked by state medical boards. These doctors who were allowed to keep their licenses have been free to make the same errors, harming patients and even costing some their lives. Despite being known to have made severely flawed medical decisions, you may unintentionally be allowing your health and life to be entrusted to them.
The internet has an infinite amount of information, so do your own research and take care of your health. Choosing a hospital, let alone a doctor, whom you will be receiving a preformed procedure, is a big decision. It is well worth the time to carefully investigate your options. Depending on how much time you have, you should always, at a minimum, make sure you do not hire a physician with a track record of making mistakes.
